1. What size should I order?
All our pieces are designed to fit relaxed and comfortable, with a little extra room through the hips, waist and shoulders (just the way Layla likes them). Most women order their normal everyday size. If you're between sizes, or you prefer an extra-roomy fit, we recommend sizing up.
You'll find a detailed size chart with exact measurements on every product page. If you're still unsure, send us a message with your usual size and measurements, and we'll personally help you pick the right one.
2. Are your clothes true to size?
Yes. Our clothing runs true to size, but the fit is intentionally loose and flowy, not tight or fitted. If you usually wear a Medium, order a Medium. The fabrics are soft enough to drape beautifully on every body shape, from a UK 8 all the way to a UK 24.
3. What kind of fabrics do you use?
Every piece is made from carefully selected, breathable natural fabrics, mostly soft linens, linen blends, and lightweight cottons. Layla has spent 35 years choosing fabrics that feel light on hot summer days, but cozy enough for cool spring mornings. Our fabrics also get softer with every wash, so your favorite piece will only feel better over time.
4. How do I wash and care for my clothes?
We recommend washing your pieces on a gentle cycle in cold water, with similar colors. Hang to dry, or tumble dry on low. A light iron on the linen or cotton setting will keep things looking fresh, but honestly, a few soft wrinkles only add to the natural charm of our fabrics. Avoid bleach to protect the prints and colors.
Each item also has a small care label sewn inside with the exact instructions for that piece.
5. How can I reach customer service if I have a question about my order?
ou can contact our customer service team via email or the contact form on our website. We aim to respond the same day if possible with clear answers and solutions regarding your order, shipping, or product questions.

6. Can I return or exchange my order?
Yes, absolutely. If something doesn't feel quite right, you can return it within 30 days of receiving it, as long as it's unworn and in its original condition. We'll either refund you or help you exchange it for a different size, color, or style.
Please note that final sale items (during the retirement sale) may have specific return rules listed on the product page. If you have any doubt, just message us first and we'll always do our best to help.
7. Will sold-out pieces come back in stock?
Sadly, no. Because Layla is officially retiring after 35 wonderful years, these truly are her final collections. Once a print, color, or size sells out, it's gone forever. No restocks, no reprints, no second chances. If you've fallen in love with something, please don't wait too long.
8. Are the designs and prints original?
Yes, every print and pattern in our shop is designed by Layla herself, often sketched at her kitchen table over a cup of tea. The wildflowers, bees, daisies, leaves and botanicals you see are all original artwork, drawn with love and a steady hand. They are then carefully printed onto the fabric using soft, eco-friendly inks that won't crack or fade.
9. I want to give this as a gift. Can you help?
Of course, this makes us so happy. Many of our customers buy our pieces as gifts for the special women in their lives — mums, sisters, best friends, daughters — and we love being part of those moments. Just leave a note at checkout with the recipient's name and a short message, and we'll include a small handwritten card in the package, free of charge. Just one more little kindness from our kitchen table to yours. 💛
10. How do I track my order?
Tracking your order is easy. The moment your package leaves our little workshop, you'll receive a confirmation email from us with your personal tracking link and order number. Just click the link, and you'll be able to follow your parcel every step of the way, from our hands all the way to your front door.
If you don't see the email within 1 to 2 business days after placing your order, please check your spam or promotions folder first (those tracking emails love to hide there). Still nothing? Just send us a quick message with your order number, and we'll personally look it up for you and make sure your package is on its way.
You can also log into your account on our website at any time and view your order status under "My Orders".
